We suggest that you stay in downtown Memphis, walkable to many of Memphis's greatest attractions. Arranged transportation will be provided between the Hyatt Centric downtown and events in East Memphis.

National Civil Rights Museum

The site of everything from lunch counter sit-ins to the sanitation workers’ strike of 1968 that inspired Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I have been to the mountaintop” speech, Memphis occupies an important place in the history of civil rights. Unfortunately, the city is also where MLK was assassinated, shot on the balcony of his room at the Lorraine Hotel.

Today, the National Civil Rights Museum, which tells the story of the national fight for equality.

Duck march at the Peabody Hotel

A Memphis tradition.

The ducks march from their residence in the penthouse to the lobby foundation twice daily at 11am and 5pm.

Graceland

You've heard the music, you've seen the movie, now see the place Elvis called home.

Located on the original site of the Stax Records studio, the Stax Museum pays tribute to the soul artists who recorded there, as well as other American soul legends.

Sun Studios

Sun Studio is known worldwide as “The Birthplace of Rock’n’roll”. It is the discovery location of musical legends and genres of the 50’s from B.B. King and Elvis Presley to Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis; from Blues and Gospel to Country and Rock’n'roll.

Memphis Pyramid Bass Pro Shop

The iconic Memphis Pyramid has been transformed into a massive wilderness-inspired Bass Pro Shops and lodge.

In addition to an incredible assortment of fishing, boating, hunting and outdoor gear, the mega store includes hotel and dining, 600,000 gallons of water teeming with over 1,800 fish; a cypress swamp with alligator pools and duck aviaries; and a breathtaking observation deck at the top of the 32-story steel pyramid.
